Old business

  • Successful Turning day, 4 lathes were in use all day
  • Gary and Bruce are going to Hillsboro Intermediate School Career Day, one more person is needed

New business

  • Discussed May 18 Turning Day at the Festus Band Building
  • Discussed Firecracker Festival on June 29th and 30th
  • Gary moved that all money from Twin City Days go to a food pantry, seconded by Craig, motion passed
  • Gary moved that all money from Firecracker days be used to refinish the band room floor, seconded by Carrie, motion retracted
  • Tim moved that the motion be tabled until the price of refinishing the floor was determined, Glen seconded, motion passed
  • A large number of books on woodworking were donated to the club and sold in a silent auction

The demonstration was by Craig on turning birdhouse ornaments.
