Our first turning day of the year was held at Paul's farm on Saturday March 27th. Everyone had a great time and as usual everyone learns new tips and techniques. We had 15 or so members attend and we had plenty of great food and drink. Paul had plenty of wood to give away so nobody went home empty handed. Craig brought the new club lathe chuck and the set of club lathe tools. Paul sharpened all of our new tools for us. Arnie was showing how to turn tops and Mike and Gary turned some eggs. Later in the day Paul gave us a tour of his new house under construction. Really should be great looking when finished. A big thanks to Paul for letting us use his place for our turning days.
