Refinishing the Band Building Floors

In the week of Aug 12, club members volunteered to refinish the floors of the Festus Band Building, where the club has its meetings.  The process took almost a week, but with amazing results.

2013 Woodworking Show

The club had a booth and two lathes going for top-making and other demonstrations at the 2013 Woodworking show in Collinsville.

Arnold Library 2012

Twin City Days 2012

Club members demonstrated turning in front of the Library during Twin City Days.  Members also donated turned items and sold them in the library parking lot to benefit a local food pantry.

The sales of donated items resulted in a $704 donation that was presented to the food pantry.

2012 Woodworking Show

Woodworking Show

The woodworking show in Collinsville took place Feb 10-12.  The club had two lathes going for demonstrations.  At least one focused on making tops for the kids, and the other was used for various demonstrations.  The new lathe guard was in service and working great.

A lot of folks stopped by to learn more about the club and we hope to see some of them at a meeting soon!
